Southern California Regiment of Young Marines Welcome to the Southern California Regiment History website!
The Southern California Regiment of Young Marines was formed on March 10th, 2008 and officially approved by the Young Marines National Headquarters on April 7th, 2008. The Regiment was formed with units from the 3rd Battalion from the California Regiment of Young Marines Commanded by John Pindel. The 3rd Battalion voted recently from a Division 6 iniative, on creating another Regiment to ensure the viability of the Young Marines in the state of California, our new Regiment will provide future unit growth, more training between Young Marines and better logistical control. We here at the Southern California Regiment of Young Marines look forward to many years of adventures with our Young Marines.
